About Us

Dr. Schulten

Dr. Chris Schulten is originally from Louisville and is a 1985 graduate of St. Xavier High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Centre College, followed by his dental degree from the University of Louisville in 1993. He then served 7 years active duty in the United States Air Force where he also completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. He pursued specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Louisville and received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology in 2002. Dr. Schulten is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and the Kentucky Dental Association.

Each staff member has years of experience and is committed to providing each patient with the highest quality orthodontic treatment in a caring, professional and fun atmosphere.

Dr. Schulten is a Louisville native, St. X grad and a true Cards fan! He has a beautiful wife Amie, 3 adorable kids and a yellow lab named Mindy. When not straightening teeth, Dr. Schulten enjoys traveling, U of L sports, running, swimming, coaching his kids’ sports teams and enjoying family time.

What’s your favorite part of being an Orthodontist? “I enjoy the process of creating healthy, beautiful smiles and watching patients’ self-esteem and confidence grow. Getting to know our patient families over the course of several years is very rewarding.”

About Tiffany

Tiffany came to us from the great state of Michigan! Born and raised a true Detroit Tigers and U of M fan! She has a wonderful husband and three boys, ages 28, 22 and 18. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking and spending as much time with her family as possible, including Marlin, her sweet Labrador retriever. Tiffany has been in the orthodontic/dental field for over 29 years!

What’s your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics? “I truly enjoy seeing all the smiling faces every day!”

Mindy Clinical Assistant

About Mindy

Mindy is a Louisville native, Go Cards! She is happily married with 3 wonderful kids and 3 adorable grandsons!! When she’s not at work, Mindy and her family enjoy spending time together at the lake, beach vacations, working out, sporting events and shopping. Her dog Skipper gets in on the family time as much as possible! Mindy has been in the dental/orthodontic field for over 30 years!

What’s your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics? “I love working at Schulten Ortho because it’s a family environment. I really enjoy the people I work with, it makes working fun! Dr. Schulten is caring and funny (and an excellent Orthodontist). We put our patients first and I feel great about the work we do.”

Kyle Clinical Assistant

About Kyle

Kyle has been married to Phil, the most kind, loving thoughtful man for over 10 years! She has 2 wonderful children and 2 darling grandchildren, who are the biggest JOY of their lives. When not working, Kyle loves spending time with her husband and planning family get-togethers with her 5 siblings and nieces and nephews. They all get together once a month, laughing and cutting-up about old times. Kyle has worked for Dr. Pryor for over 33 years and Dr. Schulten for over the past 6 years.

What’s your favorite part of working in orthodontics? “I love to laugh and cut up with my patients. I believe it really makes a difference in a child’s life to have not only a beautiful smile that creates a positive self-esteem, but healthy teeth that will last a lifetime. I commend the parents that go the distance to make sure that happens for their children. Believe me… they will thank you one day.”

About Brenna

Brenna is from Louisville. She recently graduated from the University of Kentucky with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & minor in International Business. Brenna loves to travel, go to the lake, read & spend time with family and friends. Brenna has been working for Dr. Pryor for a couple of years now and joined Dr. Schulten’s staff in 2021.

What is your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics/ Dr. Pryor’s Orthodontist office? “I really enjoy getting to meet & connect with the patients & the patient families. I truly love seeing all the beautiful smiles as patient’s progress through treatment

About Amy

Amy lives in Louisville and loves it here, but she is a Cincinnati girl at heart. She enjoys cheering on the Bengals and the Reds, despite their ho-hum record. She has a wonderful husband Aaron and they have 2 little boys with another baby on the way! Amy is definitely a busy mom, but she wouldn’t change a thing!

What’s your favorite part of working at Schulten Orthodontics? “The end result! I love to see the reaction from patients when they get their braces off and see what beautiful smile we’ve created!”

About Kaylynn

Kalynn is a local gal raised right here in the community! She is a busy mom to 3 little boys 11, 9, and 5yrs old. When not working, she spends lots of time with her family outdoors. On the weekends, you will find her cheering on her boys at the dirt bike track. Kaylynn has been in the dental field since 2007 and orthodontics since 2013.
